Simply You: The cost of clutter

We have a 1000-square-foot basement. Following the stats, let’s say half of that is clutter (500 square feet). If we live in an “average” house in Boulder County and the price per square foot is $62.50 (the mathematical average of the range $25 to $100 per square foot), we are paying (or financing) $31,250 for that unused, cluttered space.
