Jessica is honored to have been Women's Magazine's inaugural intern, where she had opportunites to write, edit and meet lots of amazing people. She graduated with distinction from the University of Colorado, Boulder in August 2009 with degrees in Journalism and Spanish. Now she occupies her time trying to answer the proverbial question, "What do I want to do with my life?" Jessica loves to learn, write and travel and would like to pursue a career that incorporates all three.

Rather, it happened because smart, strong and independent women didn’t see why they, too, couldn’t be a lawyer, or a pilot or a politician. Each woman who never let her gender hold her back from what she wanted to do improved the quality of life for her daughters.
