Andie Bernard

Andie Bernard, of Boulder, is the director and head coach of Tri Babes Training, www.tribabestraining.org. Send your fitness questions to coachandie@gmail.com. Andie has combined a lifetime of athletics with her passion for helping others. For the past decade, she has trained casual exercisers to professional dancers, coached youth athletes, NCAA collegiate champions to professional athletes. She is the spokesperson for the "New Eight Minute Abs Core Series" DVDs. Andie has also been featured in Inside Triathlon magazine, on Fox 31 News and QVC television sharing her training expertise. Andie boasts certifications through the United States Triathlon Association and USA Cycling as a certified coach. She also holds the National Strength and Conditioning Association prestigious Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer certifications. She founded Tri Babes Training, a women’s triathlon training group and racing team serving Boulder and Denver communities. She is the director and head coach. Starting as a runner, Andie podiumed and set high school and college records in track and field as a hepthathlete and has won and competed in events ranging from the 100 meters to cross-country races. After college she transitioned to triathlons and has competed and podiumed in dozens of races including Xterra triathlons, Half-Ironman distances, and USAT Olympic distance nationals. Her coaching philosophy is to coach with patience, enthusiasm and encouragement. She enjoys working with all levels of athletes and loves sharing her passion for training and competition.
